Our target: The swimming pool. And from the back seat our kids and their friends were letting it be known that we couldn’t get there fast enough. The screams of excitement came to halt when one child asked, “How long do we get to swim?”
My wife answered, “Two hours.”
Groans of agony and disappointment erupted: “Ah, that’s not very long,” and “Come on, Mom!”
Then the youngest spoke up: “You know, they say ‘time flies when you’re having fun.’ So let’s not have any fun and make this last as long as possible.”

Time isn’t the variable of concern. How you use it is. What will you do today to choose the richer experience?

I took a week and took the family to Disney World. Really disconected from work and watched the kids and cousins enjoy the experience. I even had a bit of fun in the land of Magic!
Ray, i know how much you treasure your family. Thank you for demonstrating how to be present for the magic! Steve
