I have had to use this quite a few times since I attended the pathways to leadership class. One trend I am seeing is that I don’t have to use this tool as much now as earlier (evidence of high performance). It was a breath of fresh air learning how to use this tool. I have a feeling I speak for many when I say, it is not fun witnessing behaviors that can be destructive to whatever you are trying to build. Now, I don’t feel any anxieties when I see these behaviors and I don’t lose any momentum in my day when I have to administer the “4 keys to saying no”. Thanks Steve and Verus.
Guys,
I found the Video very helpful I would actually ask why the person had responded that way first.
But would have covered off all the steps this video still help to confirm structure and I think the Video idea is great.
I guess one other thing is the cultural differences in Australia: we don’t take so many words to say what we need to say.
You would effect the credibility of what is being said as the person you would talking to may start to think you are full of it.
But I do really appreciate the video delivery I think you should do a lot more of it.
