If you have 2 minutes to invest, to be inspired, watch this. It’s a cue that winning doesn’t mean someone else loses.
Who’s the hero? We are taught to believe it is the leader who lifts their team to victory. Jonathan reminds us that there are heroes who play a greater game. They are amongst us, ready to assist – and even willing to do so by disguising their effort as a “turnover.” It is the Jonathans who lead us in ways a spotlight-craving boss never can, because they realize the bigger dream and prompt us to be more of who we can be.
Who’s the disguised hero you will recognize today? (For whom will you be a hero?)
Not only an amazing show of sportsmanship but a tug at the heart. A Magic Moment worth watching and sharing. Just think about the impact on that child’s self-esteem and building the Big R. Awesome.
Debra, thanks for sharing your thoughts. It’s amazing when we have mentors who do one small thing that activates our potential, as Jonathan has done for Mitchell. PRICELESS.
