If you change, if you speak up and believe when others don’t, if you take inspired action that is beyond yesterday’s comfort, those around you will be alarmed. You will be spotlighted.
The claim, “You are inauthentic.” Because, of course, you are not being true to how they have defined you. Their attempts to manipulate you are designed to make you predictable.
You are not here, however, to fulfill their expectations. The opportunity of today is far grander.
It can appear easier to please them and maintain what you know. The penalty, though, for never actuating your potential is severe.
Resist the temptation to be true to yesterday. Be true to today, be true to yourself.
